Routes for Matatu's Plying Nairobi Estates-Matatu Route Numbers

At some point- you may have been stranded in town wondering where to pick a matatu or bus to a certain destination in the outskirts of Nairobi.
I wrote this post; after I had a bad experience of boarding the wrong matatu plying the Eastleigh route.  I had wanted to get to Ngara Government Housing Scheme and was informed that vehicles plying the Eastleigh route are the best to drop you off at the new estate. I boarded a bus that goes to Eastleigh but little did I know it uses a different route from that one past the housing scheme.
Upon alighting, I realized I am in the wrong neighborhood of Ngara and had to ask nearby. I was advised to pick a motorbike that would take me to the gate of the Ngara Housing Scheme; costing me another 60 bob which I had not budgeted for. Too bad, maybe you have undergone worse.

So, let me cut the story short and give you a handy list of the routes for most matatus plying the common estates of Nairobi.  For the common mwananchi, we ask " ni matatu namba Ngapi?"
